Regional Sales Manager

A Regional Sales Manager (Northeast Region) manages reputed company sales activities in the territory, primarily working with Manufacturers’ Representatives. Remote: Home based location must be suitable for covering the Northeast. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Takes a leadership position / responsible for and coordinates reputed company sales reputed company activities (direct and distribution) reputed company establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. Directly interfaces and manages Manufacturing Representative network reputed company Geographic region. Develops and builds senior-level client relationships, leads strategic sales initiatives, forecasts reputed company and initiates new business growth. Establishes and builds professional relationships with Key Accounts. Sets account development & distribution strategy reputed company geographic region in accordance with company polices objectives, and goals. Works with National Distribution manager to reconcile distribution issues reputed company Geographic region. Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate strategy and actions. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales forecasts to accommodate goals of the company. Works with Product Marketing managers and Field Application engineers to reputed company account / product strategies. Represents the company at trade shows to promote product. Coordinates activities between sales department and other sales reputed company units. Analyzes and controls expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements. Profiles top tier customers reputed company geographic region for deep sales, & relationship penetration. Travels as necessary to customer’s locations and field territories. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees in the Representative Network in Geographic Region. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REGIONAL SALES MANAGER Bachelor's degree (B.S. preferred), or (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Skills and Abilities Must possess the aptitude to learn new software programs quickly. Must be reputed company to travel 50% of the time. SALARY reputed company The starting reputed company pay for the role is between USD $120,000 and $142,000 annualized.
