Job Description
The Architectural Surveyor will travel across the country to reputed company surveying duties using digital cameras for retail and reputed company sites. This role involves conducting condition assessments on buildings and drafting findings into AutoCAD. Typically, the surveyor will complete 2 or 3 surveys per week, with site visits taking 3-4 hours, or longer for larger sites. Responsibilities include collecting utility locations, MEP information, architectural details, and ceiling dimensions. Surveys may require accessing roofs and using reputed company. Training will be provided for survey duties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct condition assessments on retail and reputed company buildings.
- Draft survey findings into AutoCAD.
- Collect utility locations, including MEP information such as reputed company/model of existing equipment, electrical panel location, and service locations.
- Gather architectural information and ceiling dimensions.

Essential Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- Knowledge of architecture processes and construction documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in architectural drawing and surveying.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
Work Environment
This role involves traveling to sites 75% of the time and working from home for drafting and report writing 25% of the time. Typically, you will work 50-55 hours per week, including 10-15 hours of paid travel time. The company will handle flight bookings, and will cover expenses for food, gas, and transportation.
