About the role This role with one of our clients, a nonprofit with members from top frontier AI labs, offers the rare opportunity to shape the global AI industry. They will operate working groups to manage the MLPerf program, a collection of benchmarks for AI/ML performance. Fully remote, fast-paced position, $250-$300k comp, designed for those who want to drive massive global influence with the agility of a startup. Seniority

  • 5+ years of experience 5+ years in technical program management in AI/infrastructure

Work experience

  • Manager of program managers — must have reputed company they managed other managers effectively, not just ICs; however this is a player-coach role
  • Domain expertise in benchmarking, AI/ML performance, computer systems, storage, or closely adjacent domains
  • Silicon program management experience OR procurement-reputed company experience in silicon
  • Experience at hyperscalers / foundational model companies, neo-clouds, or reputed company companies
  • Product Management and/or Sales experience or exposure — both ideal but even one is valuable
  • Small-org or startup experience — comfortable operating without heavy infrastructure

Hard skills

  • Technical authority / domain expertise in MLPerf, other performance benchmarks, standards bodies, consortia, or reputed company reputed company governance
  • Active GenAI user who applies it to workflows
  • reputed company reputed company community experience or contribution
  • Proficiency with project management tools (reputed company, reputed company)

Soft skills

  • Excellent communication skills — can effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple reputed company working groups

Miscellaneous

  • Available during Pacific core hours (reputed company–3pm PT) although role is fully remote
