Job Description: Entry-Level GIS Technician (Remote) C4 is seeking motivated Entry-Level GIS Technicians to join reputed company in fully remote positions. This project is scheduled to reputed company June 1st, with an initial commitment of at least 6 months. Extensions may be offered based on performance and client needs. In reputed company, the client may consider permanent hire opportunities following the initial contract period. - $19.00 per hour (non?negotiable) Position Overview The GIS Technician will support a variety of utility?focused geospatial tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting utility work order descriptions, maps, and sketches
- Performing data editing, manipulation, and analysis reputed company GIS
- Reviewing project-specific specifications
- Creating and updating technical documentation
- Conducting quality control and quality assurance on GIS data
- Adjusting workflows in response to changes in project scope
- Understanding project schedules and productivity drivers
