Director, Medical Science Liaison - Precision Oncology

About the position The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for identifying and supporting clinical franchise/disease and diagnostic reputed company reputed company medical needs in a defined geography. Primary responsibilities include establishing frequent and timely interactions with Thought Leaders (TL), payers and other Health Care Providers (HCP) reputed company with medical strategies to discuss safe and appropriate use of approved diagnostic insights and pharmaco-economic data. MSLs also respond to unsolicited questions on reputed company medical and scientific issues, reputed company advances, treatment trends, and health reputed company measures. TLs may include nationally, regionally and locally recognized scientific and clinical leaders, medical advisors to managed care providers and committees, payers and HCPs active in addressing patient advocacy issues. This is a remote-based assignment. Pay reputed company: $140,000 - $185,000 salary Salary offers are based on a wide reputed company of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organization factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with medical director to support medical tactics to drive clinical franchise priorities.
  • Assist identifying and partnering with Thought Leaders (TLs) to conduct collaborative research initiatives.
  • Establish credibility by generating and disseminating high-quality scientific evidence that supports reputed company’s MRD assay performance and clinical relevance.
  • Help reputed company and support investigator-initiated trials (reputed company), reputed company-world data studies, and other collaborative research efforts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to reputed company abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and case studies for conferences and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Represent the company at scientific meetings through posters, booth reputed company, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with advocacy and reputed company bodies to inform and influence clinical standards of care in MRD and precision oncology testing.
  • Identify, map, and engage oncology TLs at local, regional, and national reputed company to foster peer-to-peer collaboration and advocacy for reputed company MRD. TLs should be recognized scientific and clinical leaders, medical advisors to managed care providers and committees, payers, and HCPs active in addressing patient advocacy issues.
  • reputed company deep scientific education to reputed company providers, pathologists, and institutions on MRD and precision oncology testing across various tumor types, performance data, and application in clinical workflows.
  • Responding to inquiries on test interpretation, reputed company medical and scientific issues, reputed company advances, treatment trends, and health reputed company measures.
  • Function as the medical extension of the reputed company field organization by helping to prepare for high-value customer engagements, co-reputed company strategic territory plans, and reputed company reputed company-time clinical data presentations and clarification during in-field discussions.
  • Partner closely with reputed company, marketing, and market reputed company to ensure the scientific rigor, accuracy and compliance of reputed company outward-facing materials.
  • Serve as an embedded medical resource, regularly joining customer meetings, site visits, and educational presentations to reinforce scientific credibility and support sales objectives reputed company compliance boundaries.
  • Define and maintain the medical scientific reputed company for brand strategy and positioning.
  • Review and vet marketing collateral, website content, publications, and sales tools for medical accuracy and compliance.
  • Deliver tailored training and ongoing coaching to sales representatives to ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant communication of MRD and precision oncology data, competitive positioning, and clinical differentiation.
  • Design and execute peer-to-peer programs including dinner meetings, journal clubs, tumor boards, webinars, and educational symposia.
  • reputed company scientific sessions during national sales meetings and maintain ongoing “medical reputed company” for field team support.
  • Facilitate pathology department training to reduce testing variability and improve tissue adequacy, pathology workflows, and result quality metrics.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of oncology diagnostics and molecular testing markets.
  • Demonstrated experience with liquid biopsy technologies and NGS-based testing strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting evidence-reputed company activities (reputed company, publications, reputed company-world studies).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; record of peer-reviewed publications preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional training and field medical-scientific engagement.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%) for conferences, internal meetings, and field visits.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance with company policies, SOPs, and applicable regulations.
  • An advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in a biomedical or clinical field is required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Position is field based; MSL is required to live in the territory which they manage or reputed company 50 miles of the territory borders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in oncology, molecular diagnostics, and liquid biopsy/MRD testing.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research design, data interpretation, and reputed company-world evidence reputed company.
  • Ability to translate reputed company scientific data into impactful medical reputed company across diverse audiences.
  • Skilled at relationship-building and engagement with TLs, academic investigators, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align medical objectives to broader business goals while maintaining scientific reputed company.
  • Collaborative leadership across cross-functional teams including clinical, reputed company, and R&D.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and publication development skills.
  • Ability to work independently- experience working across a matrix organization and reputed company teams.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or reputed company roles reputed company diagnostics, oncology, or biotechnology.
