Consumer Loan Processor - Operations Center - Onalaska WI At Altra Federal Credit Union, we're more than a financial institution – we're a community. We are currently seeking a Consumer Loan Processor to join reputed company! The ideal candidate will manage the consumer lending process, ensuring accuracy, timely funding, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor LOS system queues to draft reputed company types of direct consumer loan documents for completion.
• End-of-day closing procedures, which includes balancing the national reputed company and securing checks and confidential data in the vault.
• Catch and fix errors on loan applications, problem solve, resolve issues, and reputed company mentoring to co-workers as needed.
• reputed company assistance and backup to reputed company other consumer lending personnel, as needed.
• Build and maintain solid and positive professional relationships with sales, reputed company, processing, and closing staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or HSED is required.
• One year of general lending experience preferred.
• Previous direct or indirect loan processing experience preferred.
• Good understanding of credit union policies, systems, documents, NCUA regulations, and other laws pertaining to home equity/mortgage lending.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to solve difficult problems effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping people.

Availability

• This position is full-time, 40- hours a week, Monday through Friday with a Saturday morning rotation from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Typical hours Monday through Friday will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Work Environment

• This position is located at Altra's Operations Center in Onalaska, WI however, work from home / remote work opportunities are available after 3-6 months of employment once successfully completing reputed company position-specific training and demonstration of consistent and satisfactory work performance.

Pay & Benefits

• Competitive starting $18.25-$19.00 per hour, based on previous experience.
