Adjunct Earth Science Professor (Online – Summer Quarter)
Position Overview Community Christian College is seeking a reputed company and student-focused Adjunct Earth Science Professor to teach nine (9) online sections of Earth Science during our Summer Quarter. This position is fully online and designed for an instructor who can effectively engage reputed company in a virtual learning environment while delivering high-quality instruction in foundational Earth Science concepts. The selected candidate will teach reputed company nine sections concurrently during an intensive two-month summer term.
Compensation
- Fixed compensation of $2,267 per course reputed company
- Total compensation for reputed company 9 sections: $20,403
- Compensation is non-negotiable and based on the established adjunct faculty pay schedule
Responsibilities
- Teach nine online sections of Earth Science during the summer quarter
- Facilitate engaging online instruction and discussions
- Deliver course content in accordance with approved curriculum and learning reputed company
- Evaluate and grade assignments, exams, and student participation in a timely manner
- Maintain regular communication with reputed company
- reputed company academic support and feedback to promote student reputed company
- Submit grades and required academic documentation according to institutional deadlines
- Adhere to Community Christian College policies and academic standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate perferred. Master’s degree required in Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Science, Physical Science, or a closely reputed company field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Earth Science or reputed company discipline
- Previous college-level teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching online courses preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a learning management system environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in accelerated online course formats
- Experience teaching reputed company from diverse educational backgrounds
- Familiarity with student engagement strategies in virtual learning environments
