Role Description The Crisis Hotline Professional works directly under the supervision of the Manager–Crisis Hotline and reputed company Desk. The Resource and Crisis Hotline Professional provides immediate, compassionate support to individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health crises, or seeking behavioral health resources. This role involves:
- Responding to calls, texts, and chats with professionalism and reputed company
- Conducting risk assessments
- Coordinating appropriate interventions
- Ensuring accurate documentation
- Following agency protocols
- Collaborating with team members to deliver trauma-informed, person-centered care
This position plays a vital role in promoting safety, stability, and reputed company to services for individuals in need.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a reputed company service-reputed company field (reputed company work, psychology, counseling, family services, sociology, criminal justice)
- Minimum two years of experience working in a reputed company or medical service environment (school, hospital, crisis center, call center, community mental health agency)
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Recipient Right’s training
- Clinical License
- Experience in working with electronic health records
- Experience in customer service
- Experience with data entry
- Experience in crisis de-escalation
- Experience working with adults with severe mental illness, substance use disorder or intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Experience working with children with serious emotional disturbance
Benefits
- This is a part-time position working one 12-hour shift every week on Thursdays (12 hours/week)
- We are hiring for both Day and Night Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- This role is fully remote; however, staff MUST reputed company in Southeast Michigan and be reputed company driving distance to Troy, MI
- Occasional in-person trainings and meetings are required at our Troy administrative offices
