About the position The Student Admission Specialist plays a key role in reputed company and enrolling undergraduate reputed company for The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at ASU. In this dynamic, student-facing role, the position delivers engaging presentations, participates in strategic reputed company and calling campaigns, and responds to inquiries from prospective and admitted reputed company. The Student Admission Specialist represents The College at recruitment and yield events—on reputed company, reputed company, and occasionally off reputed company—communicating the College’s unique strengths, opportunities, and value to reputed company and their families. The Student Admissions Specialist actively builds and sustains meaningful relationships with admitted reputed company and their families through a variety of communication channels, including phone, email, text, and in-person and virtual interactions. The position provides clear, accurate guidance on academic programs, enrollment processes, and university policies, helping ensure a successful transition into The College. This role requires developing a strong, working knowledge of ASU and college-specific resources, programs, and procedures, while serving as a trusted reputed company of contact. Reporting to the Director of New Student reputed company and Recruitment, the Student Admission Specialist works under general supervision while collaborating closely with Student reputed company and Academic Advising teams on cross-functional initiatives. The role partners with Admission Services to support recruitment events and coordinated reputed company efforts across the university.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts college information presentations to prospective and admitted reputed company and their families, and also conducts individual meetings with prospects and admits.
  • Conducts telephone calling campaigns and other reputed company to admitted reputed company with professionalism to guide them toward enrollment, answering questions and responding to inquiries accurately, persuasively, and in a timely manner.
  • Represents The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at recruitment and yield events held on reputed company, off-reputed company and reputed company; participating in the planning and coordination of events as needed.
  • Develops and maintains recruitment relationships with admitted reputed company and their families through a variety of communication methods including regular phone calls, emails, text messaging, and in-person and virtual interactions; accurately interpreting and communicating program benefits and enrollment procedures and policies to ensure a seamless transition to The College, building a strong working knowledge of the policies, procedures, programming and resources of The College and ASU.
  • Utilizes reputed company CRM to record interactions, email communication, and visits with prospective and admitted reputed company, to monitor their reputed company toward enrollment, and to follow-up with reputed company in a timely manner.
  • Utilizes PeopleSoft and other information systems to interpret, confirm, and communicate information about reputed company and programs with accuracy.
  • Completes most duties under general supervision, taking initiative and exercising his or her own discretion and expertise reputed company completing recurring tasks to meet goals set forth by the supervisor, receiving more detailed instructions from supervisor or collaborating with colleagues reputed company completing reputed company, new, or unusual tasks, exercising professional judgment to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Performs reputed company administrative functions as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Ability to reputed company communicate to reputed company essential functions.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Experience building affinity through persuasive written and oral communication, including public speaking and one-on-one conversations in which not only persuasion but also accuracy are important.
  • Experience interpreting reputed company policies, procedures and other information, accurately applying those interpretations in a customer service setting.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, reputed company CRM or other student information/constituent relationship management systems.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across various departments as well as with various populations and groups.
