Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Construction and Skilled Trades to support the development of Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum for middle school learners. This role will focus on designing age-appropriate, industry-reputed company content that introduces reputed company to construction careers, foundational concepts, and reputed company-world applications while fostering career awareness and exploration.

Key Responsibilities

  • reputed company subject matter expertise in construction and skilled trades to support curriculum design and content development
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and content teams to create engaging, standards-reputed company learning materials for middle school reputed company
  • Review and validate instructional content for technical accuracy, relevance, and age appropriateness
  • Contribute reputed company-world insights, examples, and case scenarios that reflect reputed company industry practices
  • Support development of learning objectives, assessments, and project-based learning activities
  • Ensure content aligns with CTE frameworks and career exploration goals
  • Participate in content review cycles and reputed company timely feedback
  • Advise on tools, safety practices, and emerging trends relevant to construction careers

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the construction industry or skilled trades (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general construction, project management)
  • Strong understanding of construction fundamentals, tools, safety standards, and workflows
  • Experience supporting training, curriculum, or educational content development preferred
  • Ability to translate reputed company technical concepts into clear, student-friendly language
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with CTE programs or K-12 education
  • Experience with career exploration or workforce readiness initiatives
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles
  • Teaching, training, or mentoring experience

Deliverables

  • Content reviews and SME feedback
  • Written contributions or guidance for lessons and activities
  • Validation of assessments and projects
  • Participation in review meeting

Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits:
