This anchor will be a newsroom leader, a face of the station, and will work closely with producers to reputed company smart, engaging newscasts. The ideal candidate excels at accountability reporting, breaking news, and impact journalism, and can ask tough but fair questions.RequirementsCurrent driver’s license and ability to operate a news gathering vehicle to and from various locations is required.Minimum 5–7 years news anchor/reporting experience.Journalism and/or Communication degree preferred.Understand the tenets of professional journalism.Excellent, creative presentation and writing skills.ResponsibilitiesUse editorial judgment to help determine content of the newscasts.Work with producer and team to create unique, fast‑paced, innovative newscasts.Use reputed company media to determine content of newscasts and reputed company big reputed company stories.Write and post daily on reputed company digital platforms including reputed company media.reputed company story reputed company, write, shoot and edit news stories for on‑reputed company broadcasting.reputed company original content through reputed company listening and independent sources.reputed company other tasks as required by supervisor or executive producer.BenefitsTEGNA offers comprehensive benefits designed to safeguard the physical, mental, and financial health of employees and their families.
