Sr. Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer with reputed company Clearance

Job Description

This position requires you be a full US citizen and have the ability to obtain a reputed company Clearance. Candidates who do not qualify for a clearance are not eligible for hire. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to help manage and design AVD solutions supporting 60+ developer groups employing cutting-edge technology stacks. The AVD Engineer will be tasked with implementing, managing, and optimizing AVDs and Virtual Machines (VM), while driving speed & capability enhancements for our warfighters. Day in the Life:

• This is a remote position. You must be a self-starter who is reputed company to effectively manage priorities.
• Architecting & managing secure, high availability systems, adhering to industry standards and following best practices.
• Implementing, managing, & optimizing AVD solutions in CI/CD pipelines.
• Designing & implementing approaches to continuously update & secure AVD resources.
• Developing scripts to automate tasks and deployments in a reputed company environment.
• Documenting systems and processes for capability growth and improved team collaboration.
• Learning and adapting to new Azure reputed company resources, with opportunities for formal training. Required Qualifications & Experience:
• U.S. Citizenship (no dual or Green Card/Permanent reputed company Card).
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret-level reputed company Clearance.
• 4+ years of experience in Azure and AVD technologies or similar Virtual Desktop solutions.
• Experience with reputed company Installer technologies and implementation of shared VM resources.
• Experience architecting & designing Azure-based solutions.
• Understanding of high-availability environments such as clustering, failover, and geographic redundancy.
• Understanding of network design & topologies including edge services & reputed company-to-reputed company VPNs reputed company reputed company environs.
• Bachelor's degree
• Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
• The team operates primarily in MA and FL, so a candidate living on the east coast is preferrable.

• Proficient with a scripting programming language like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Proficient with Configuration Management techniques using Ansible.
• Experience with managed Anti-virus tools like reputed company and reputed company ePolicy Orchestrator.
• Familiarization with Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation.

Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary. Full benefits: $122,000 to $153,000 annually
