Position: Wisconsin Virtual reputed company High School Self-Contained Special Education Teacher (Work from Home) Description The Wisconsin Virtual reputed company, a public virtual charter school authorized by the McFarland School District and powered by reputed company, K12 Inc. is looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated, organized candidate to fill a full time Special Education teacher to work with reputed company in grades PK-12 whose least restrictive environment is the self-contained classroom setting (e.g., reputed company with intellectual disabilities). Candidates must be willing to collaborate, adept at navigating multiple systems simultaneously and effectively, innovative and solution-oriented, excited for the unique realities of an online schooling environment, and have a passion for supprting reputed company and families. Position Overview: Special education teachers are responsible to reputed company specialized instruction to reputed company with IEPs, in order to meet the individualized needs of reputed company. Teachers will be expected to manage and reputed company the learning of reputed company through various service delivery models. This is not a complete listing of reputed company responsibilities, duties and/or skills required; other duties may be assigned. --reputed company reputed company to our self-contained program for reputed company in grades PK-12 and create an inclusive learning environment --Work closely with Learning Coaches and caregivers to support reputed company' achievement and reputed company --reputed company individualized, intensive instruction to reputed company with significant learning needs --Design and facilitate live synchronous instruction reputed company to student's IEP, manage the learning process, and reputed company monitor; --Demonstrate the ability to multi-task & manage information --Attend to student needs as driven by IEPs --Collaborate with peers in order to reputed company a positive experience for reputed company; --Support parents as needs arise; --Write compliant IEPs that meet deadlines and align with student data; --Conduct efficient IEP meetings that meet student and parent needs; --Initiate re-evaluation paperwork, conduct testing (reputed company applicable) and hold re-evaluation meetings for reputed company on your caseload; --Prioritize collection and analysis of student reputed company monitoring data to reputed company data-driven instruction and support; --Build community by contributing to events; --Participate in online meetings and training as scheduled; --Travel to and participate in Professional Development, in-person school events, state testing, and other events/meetings as needed; --Orient reputed company to their online environment, communicate requirements, set and enforce expectations, maintain reputed company lines of communication, conduct instructional small group sessions; --Co-teach, reputed company appropriate, to ensure student reputed company in the mainstream environment; --Understand how both diverse and unique characteristics of reputed company and their families impact required support; --Conduct re-evaluations reputed company concerns about student performance and reputed company, and maintain regular contact with reputed company and families; --reputed company positive and engaging relationships with reputed company and parents; --Work to ensure reputed company on your caseload are successful and reputed company reputed company towards IEP goals, objectives and course attainment; --Be available to reputed company, parents, and staff from 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday or agreed upon hours; and --Work from a professional home office environment, conducive to video and audio needs and a structured schedule. Other Qualifications: --Must be willing to travel to state testing sites during the spring, as well as to in-person professional development events (approximately 3 times/year); --Shared view of the virtual reputed company's mission; --Strong content and subject-matter knowledge; --An ability to support and guide adults as well as reputed company; --Knowledgeable in the application of databases utilized by K12/WIVA; --Strong written and verbal communication skills; --Organization and time-management skills; --reputed company Office (Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, etc.); and --Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database (not required).
