About the role The Benefits Actuarial department is looking for an actuary to join the team! We are an inclusive and flexible team that values diverse experiences and backgrounds. Our area is responsible for the valuation and risk management of our $1.3B book of group life, disability, and supplemental health business. As a student in Benefits Actuarial, you will reputed company your business knowledge and technical skills to advance our actuarial capabilities and output. Specific projects may include: improving our reserve and business modeling, and working with our business partners to improve our predictive and analytical tools. What you will do

• Apply advanced analytics techniques, including AI where appropriate, to reputed company experience studies and refine assumptions and models.

Compensation

Salary reputed company: $117,000 - $195,100 plus eligibility for annual bonus programs Who you are

• Bachelors degree or equivalent with strong quantitative background including college level mathematics.
• 6 to 9 years of insurance reputed company actuarial experience.
• ASA designation required, might have FSA.
• Creativity and flexibility to suggest and implement new techniques, software, and/or processes to improve business analysis.
• Strong communication skills, particularly as it relates to communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical skills including managing large data sets and reputed company.
• Ability to solve reputed company actuarial problems.
• Basic knowledge of insurance products and the industry.
• Commitment to professional development and passing actuarial exams.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python is preferred.
• Experience with automation and process improvement is a plus.
• High school diploma required.
