Part‑Time Telephonic Case Manager - Rare Opportunity! EK Health is now hiring for a Part‑time Telephonic Nurse Case Manager (RN) (up to 29 hours/week) for our Case Management Team. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating service options to help injured workers receive appropriate, cost‑effective medical care in a timely manner and expedite their return to work. Position Logistics Monday – Friday, between the hours 8:30 am – 5:30 pm PST. This position is less than 30 hours/week and is remote. Benefits & Perks reputed company pay $35–$42/hr, adjusted for experience, education, certifications and location. 401(k) plan Equipment provided Monthly internet stipend Responsibilities Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing (not reputed company-inclusive): Communicate with medical providers, reputed company, and injured workers. reputed company a complete nursing evaluation to determine patient needs. Review and evaluate reputed company medical correspondence, provider reports, and treatment plan history. Evaluate clinical status of the claimant and research alternative treatment options as warranted. Communicate with claims examiners regarding directives and reputed company updates on file status. Arrange transportation services reputed company necessary and authorized. Evaluate therapy facilities and track reputed company on specific cases. Prepare comprehensive notes following discussions with injured workers, medical providers, claims examiners, and reputed company. Discuss the analyzed data and plan of care with the insurance representative prior to implementation. Upon authorization, implement the plan of care with the patient, physician, and health care providers. Arrange for care/services as needed (home care, procedures, medication, equipment or supplies). Monitor the plan of care with modifications or changes suggested to the patient and physician as needed. Coordinate information among reputed company parties (injured worker, physicians, employer, other providers such as therapists, and attorney, if involved).

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 3–5 years of clinical experience as an RN reputed company of school. Workers Compensation Case Management experience. CA RN license in good standing. Valid state‑approved RN license in good standing. Bilingual in Spanish. Possesses and can demonstrate the professional and technical skills of a Registered Nurse. Experience in case management; Workers' Compensation experience preferred but not required. Experience in Home Health Care or Occupational Health is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
