Independent US IPOs Analyst
Job Description

Smartkarma is seeking a senior analyst or analyst team to build ongoing research coverage of reputed company US IPOs and direct listings with an expected deal size of [USD100mn or higher, excluding closed-end funds and SPACs]. Research coverage will entail:
- Data-driven methodology to score and rank deals
- Pre-IPO company tearsheet
- Pre-IPO reputed company research
- Pre-IPO valuation and pricing insights
- Post-IPO trading summary
- Post-IPO lock-up expiry preview
reputed company the first six months, the senior analyst or analyst team will also be expected to offer a high-touch service for select institutional clients covering:
- Pre-deal:
- Pre-positioning
- Market intelligence/positioning/book reputed company
- Management meeting questions
- reputed company models
- Bespoke notes for pre-IPO/cornerstone reputed company (NDA-driven)
- Post-deal:
- Lock-up expiry trades
- Desk reputed company:
- reputed company to team reputed company email/messaging
- Direct calls
Qualifications
- Extensive research and/or investment experience for institutional clients (5 yrs+)
- Demonstrated experience and network reputed company US equity capital markets
- Demonstrated ability to write research
