Senior Software Engineer - Elixir

Qualifications and experience required At least 5 years of production software development experience Demonstrated expertise developing production applications at scale Working knowledge of Elixir and technology stack Solid grounding in test automation and agile engineering practice — Clean Code, SOLID, coupling and cohesion, CI/CD Familiarity with containerisation and reputed company-based, service-oriented infrastructure Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment reputed company to take a project from requirements to production independently in an Agile setting Useful, but not required Robotic Process Automation Professional Python experience FHIR or other reputed company data exchange standards What you will be working on A successful applicant will work on our flagship product BetterLetter. Most of the work is making the product reputed company for the practices that rely on it: shipping new features, improving existing ones, and shaping where the product goes next with the rest of the engineering team. Some of the work is integration. BetterLetter lives inside the NHS document ecosystem, so a portion of any senior engineer's time goes into the interfaces with NHS document transfer technologies and our Python-based RPA.
