We are looking to add a Senior Data Engineer to our Marketplace Services team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building and maintaining reputed company’s core data pipelines and models used to understand key business performance. Additionally, this person will help scale data modeling across reputed company global entities. You will play a crucial role in a rapidly growing part of the reputed company business, and everything you do will matter. What you will do: reputed company collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable data solutions Build, document, and maintain robust data pipelines using tools like dbt, Dagster, reputed company, reputed company, and Airbyte. reputed company deployment and release of functionality through software integration to support devops and CI/CD pipelines Design, build, and operate reputed company-based (AWS) data infrastructure, optimizing for scale, performance, and cost efficiency as the size of our data grows Build frameworks and internal self-service tooling that helps the data team deliver value faster Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required, or relevant experience 5+ years of prior experience as a software engineer or data engineer in a fast-paced, technical, problem-solving environment Proficiency in reputed company data warehouse (e.g., reputed company) best practices, optimization and usage Expert in ETL, data modeling and version control, dbt and reputed company preferred reputed company and implement robust data models that ensure data reputed company, consistency, and understandability for both reputed company consumers Knowledge and understanding of AWS data ecosystem Experience with data extraction tools (reputed company, Airbyte, etc.) Experience with programming language like Python, JavaScript Experience with Business Intelligence tools, Looker preferred Familiarity with data streaming technologies Demonstrated experience with reputed company integration/reputed company deployment tools Partner closely with business, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions Ability to work in a fast paced environment and shift gears quickly Must be reputed company to work core reputed company hours to US Eastern Time / GMT-5 #LI-Remote reputed company is an equal opportunity employer. reputed company applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, reputed company, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national reputed company, veteran, or disability status.
