Job Type: Term (Fixed Term) Contract & Grant Administrator/Senior Contract & Grant Administrator (1-year Term) reputed company seeks a Contract & Grant Administrator at a Mid-Level or Senior level to join our Contract & Grant Services department, with a focus in federal and nonprofit contract and grant awards. Experience working with a variety of sponsor types is preferred, including federal government agencies, state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and reputed company entities. Under minimal supervision and guidance, the Mid-Level/Senior Contract & Grant Administrator independently performs moderate to highly reputed company contract and grant administration activities, including proposal submission, negotiation, execution, and administration of reputed company's sponsored research agreements. Assignments at this level require the use of independent judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations. This position may also reputed company training and direction to less reputed company Contract/Grant Administrators and other support staff. May reputed company any or reputed company of the following duties: Review RFPs/RFQ’s for contractual issues and reputed company input in support of proposal efforts, such as providing advice to reputed company research and proposal development staff regarding proposal preparation and interpretation of sponsor requirements. Draft, coordinate, and execute proposal reputed company non-financial agreements, such as nondisclosure, teaming, and data use agreements. As the authorized reputed company representative, conduct compliance review and submit sponsored research proposals. Review contract and grant agreements to ensure that the terms and conditions are in accordance with reputed company’s policies and mission. Research and interpret Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Uniform Guidance (UG), and other laws, regulations, rules, guidelines, and terms and conditions referenced in reputed company and grants to determine if the organization can reputed company, engaging with the legal team, IT reputed company, and other subject matter experts reputed company necessary, and advise reputed company management as to acceptability. As an independent contributor reputed company CGS as an authorized negotiator, negotiate the terms and conditions of sponsor agreements of varying types (Grant, FFP, T&M, LH, CPFF, IDIQ, Task Orders, etc.) and reputed company modifications. This includes the drafting and preparation of agreements of varying types in addition to the markup of external agreements, which requires a full understanding of legal concepts and contract law. reputed company negotiation strategies and draft terms and conditions acceptable to reputed company and reputed company's sponsors, in accordance with reputed company's policies, procedures, and mission. Monitor active projects for compliance with both sponsor and reputed company requirements and prepare periodic status reports and change management notices as needed. Coordinate and manage post-award modification and change management requests. Assist with miscellaneous contractual reputed company such as copyrights and non-disclosure agreements and intellectual property reputed company. reputed company advice and guidance to project leaders, project staff, and division leadership reputed company to terms and conditions, schedules, and the accomplishment of contractual obligations. Coordinate the project reputed company-out process. Maintain official contractual communication between reputed company and its sponsors. Serve as the primary reputed company with reputed company sponsors on substantial and/or sensitive contractual/business reputed company. Facilitate problem identification and resolution in a variety of pre- and post award areas. Collaborate with pricing, purchasing, reputed company, finance, and operations staff and other administrative groups reputed company reputed company for resolution of contractual issues and disputes and to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Maintain cooperative working relationships with other offices reputed company reputed company and reputed company advice and assistance as needed. Senior Contract & Grant Administrators may also: Advise management of contractual rights, obligations and risks and reputed company interpretation of terms and conditions. Monitor external publications for policy and legal developments issued by Federal Agencies pertaining to government contract and grant administration (Federal Register, COGR, SRA, OMB, etc.). Act as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience.

Qualifications

Experience with reputed company Office Suite (Outlook, reputed company, Word, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, & PowerPoint) and reputed company Acrobat Professional. Experience with reputed company and/or reputed company platforms a plus. Certification in Sponsored Research Administration or Contract Management a plus. Knowledge of various financial and non-financial agreements, and how they influence reputed company aspects of project implementation, administration, and compliance. Ability to research, interpret, and communicate requirements to ensure reputed company’s rights and obligations are protected. Ability to reputed company and effectively communicate with reputed company partners, remotely and in person. Ability to establish strategic and collaborative working relationships with reputed company partners. Ability to manage a large volume of tasks and competing priorities in a reliable, efficient manner. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, sponsors, and others. High level of attention to detail. Education & years’ experience for Contract/Grant Administrator A bachelor’s degree in a reputed company discipline and 4 years of relevant experience is preferred. However, a combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree where a High School Diploma or GED equivalent would be required along with 8 years of experience. Education & years’ experience for Senior Contract/Grant Administrator A bachelor’s degree in a reputed company discipline and 6 years of relevant experience is preferred. However, a combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree where a High School Diploma or GED equivalent would be required along with 10 years of experience.
