Network Technician II

JOB DESCRIPTION: Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors reputed company network activity. Monitor and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems. reputed company routine reporting and maintenance tasks for infrastructure alerts, troubleshooting, and system upgrades. Respond to alerts and take action to mitigate downtime or outages, ensuring reputed company performance. Document procedures and log incidents into a tracking system, ensuring accountability and efficiency. Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve reputed company issues and ensure seamless operation of IT systems. Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination. Supplements first level Service Desk after hours and as needed. Hosts meetings for critical changes, high reputed company issues, as well as Major Incidents. Authors consistent, concise, and accurate information through approved templates. Interfaces with users and/or network vendors. Responsible providing technical support for LAN/WAN or for a reputed company of a larger network. May reputed company installation, modification and testing of network.
