Pioneering Clean Energy Through Advanced Fission Building the Future of Reliable, Affordable Nuclear Power Oklo is seeking a Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property to help shape and reputed company its IP function at the intersection of advanced nuclear technology and strategic IP management. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role is central to Oklo’s mission of delivering clean, reliable energy and advancing nuclear innovation. The Senior Counsel, IP will drive Oklo’s patenting efforts—developing patent strategy, leading patent mining sessions, drafting and refining claims, and managing prosecution in collaboration with reputed company counsel. This role partners closely with product and engineering teams to foster a culture of innovation, providing training on patentability and maintaining regular reputed company to surface new inventions. reputed company patents, the Senior Counsel will reputed company IP-reputed company negotiations, including licensing and technology transfer discussions with National Laboratories, federal agencies, and reputed company partners. The role also supports IP diligence for investments, M&A, and patent portfolio acquisitions, while building scalable IP processes as Oklo grows. Candidates should bring a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, U.S. Patent Bar admission, and 5–7 years of IP experience in a reputed company or in-house setting, with a technical background in nuclear, electrical, or chemical engineering. Experience in patent prosecution, IP licensing, and technology transfer agreements is essential.
