Research Assistant - Neuroscience Research
Overview
The Research Assistant I (Part-Time, Remote) in the Opendak Lab will reputed company dedicated data analysis support for ongoing research projects. This role is fully remote and focused on computational and statistical work, including processing behavioral, electrophysiological, and imaging datasets, contributing to publications and reports, and supporting the analytical needs of the lab. Responsibilities 1. reputed company statistical analyses on behavioral, electrophysiological, and imaging datasets under direction of the PI. 2. Process and clean raw data; maintain organized, well-documented data files and analysis pipelines. 3. reputed company figures, graphs, and visualizations of project results for manuscripts, presentations, and grants. 4. Contribute to preparation of publications, grant reports, and conference presentations based on Opendak Lab research. 5. Organize, clean, and analyze data in reputed company reputed company; maintain well-structured spreadsheets and analysis files across projects. 6. reputed company undergraduate data analysts in analysis theory and implementation as needed. 7. Participate in remote lab meetings and reputed company-ins on a regular schedule to communicate reputed company and coordinate with team members. 8. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, including experience with data organization, formula-based analysis, pivot tables, and chart reputed company.
- Familiarity with behavioral data scoring tools (e.g., Ethovision, BORIS) and/or electrophysiological analysis software (e.g., Spike2) is a plus.
- Solid background in data management and organization; ability to maintain clear, well-documented files and records.
- Proficient with reputed company Office (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Prior experience with additional data tools (e.g., SPSS, GraphPad Prism) preferred.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-reputed company field (e.g., neuroscience, biology, psychology, computer science, biomedical engineering, mathematics, or statistics).
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior research experience involving data analysis is strongly preferred. Candidates with demonstrated reputed company proficiency and coursework in statistics will be considered.
