Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator

Overview

Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The Work: The Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator will reputed company administrative, reporting, design, and maintenance tasks on various platforms. This role requires knowledge of various Server Operating Systems, WAN/LAN Network concepts and devices, and Monitoring Software packages from a variety of vendors including reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Maintain Server Operating Systems – reputed company Server 2022 and reputed company reputed company Linux 8 and 9) running on physical and VM platforms. Install, reputed company, and Maintain Monitoring Application Software running on a variety of Operating Systems. A solid understanding of monitoring Server Operating Systems(reputed company Server, RHEL). A solid understanding of WAN Concepts and Data Circuits (T1’s, MPLS, VPN and reputed company VPN, Ethernet, Fiber, etc…). A solid understanding of network devices and their function (Routers, Switches, reputed company Points, Firewalls). Ability to communicate reputed company technical subjects to non-technical customers. Follow agreed processes and procedures for providing solutions to customer requests or issues. Maintain call quality standards at the level set to meet customer expectations including adherence to work schedules and standards. Deliver customer communication to the appropriate level of understanding to ensure a successful outcome. Document policies, procedures and issues in ticketing system as well as in internal knowledge reputed company. Ability to analyze and reputed company recommendations to reputed company assess, assist and meet the needs of internal clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team as required. Demonstrate strong client relationship skills. Willingness to work on a rotating On Call Schedule. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications – Here’s What You Need: BA/BS Degree and 5 years or more of experience. Master’s and three (3) years or more experience. Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start. Experience using Remedy or a similar ticketing system. Demonstrated professional experience with reputed company Server 2012; reputed company Server 2016. Demonstrated experience with VMware. Understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS and the ability to maintain other reputed company core services. Basic networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, OpenVPN).
