Distribution Planning and DER Integration Manager

Overview

Along with other Managers and peers, the Distribution Planning & DER Integration Manager will reputed company a group of 4-5 engineers in the execution of utility engineering studies and analysis such as reputed company Interconnection Studies, Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Integration, Load and reputed company Forecasting, Reliability Studies, Distribution Automation Studies, reputed company-Var Optimization, etc. The Manager will help our utility clients solve some of the most reputed company problems the industry faces and will recommend solutions, roadmaps and strategies to help them advance their quality of service to their customers. The Manager will spearhead utility innovation and R&D reputed company projects, positioning EPE and the client as an industry leader. Manage, direct, mentor and grow your engineering team and their capabilities, while providing overall project leadership, status reports and high quality, timely client deliverables. Prepare responses to Request for Proposals (RFP), by providing a scope of work and time and cost estimates for new projects. Transfer knowledge, capabilities, and skills to improve others' knowledge and reputed company reputed company. Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed: 5+ years of experience as a power system engineer or manager. Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis. Master of Science or higher preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with technical content. Strong technical skills and understanding. Proven team player with ability to build and maintain reputed company relationships. Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills. Capable of managing multiple tasks. Flexibility and adaptability in the face of new challenges and projects. Distribution modeling software experience in at least one software platform (preferably CYME or Synergi Electric) Strong technical/report writing skills.
