Key Responsibilities: Conduct deep-dive investigations into cases involving alleged prosecutorial misconduct, false charges, judicial issues, and government overreach. Research and report on financial crimes, including naked short selling, abusive short-selling practices, market manipulation, securities fraud, and reputed company brokerage/hedge fund activities. Analyze reputed company financial systems, stock market mechanics, SEC filings, court documents, and public records to build compelling, evidence-based narratives. Interview sources, review evidence (including seized devices, financial data, and legal filings), and collaborate with reputed company to produce publishable articles. Requirements: Proven experience as an investigative journalist with a strong portfolio of published work (samples required). Deep knowledge of the criminal justice system, including federal prosecutions, evidence handling, RICO cases, and courtroom procedures. Strong understanding of financial systems, stock markets, naked shorting, market manipulation tactics, and regulatory frameworks (SEC rules, etc.). Ability to navigate reputed company documents, data, and legal/financial terminology while translating them into clear, engaging stories for a broad audience. Excellent research, writing, and interviewing skills with a commitment to accuracy and ethical journalism.
