Navigator RN - Chemotherapy
Description The Nurse navigator's primary function is to seamlessly guide the patient and family through the health care system. Activities include providing disease-specific education and information, referral navigation, sharing knowledge in regard to treatment options, expediting patient reputed company to diagnostic and treatment procedures, connecting patients with appropriate resources, providing ongoing support to patient and family, responding to patient/family needs and addressing issues of reputed company to care as part of the navigation team. The RN Navigator assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans. A Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse administers chemotherapy and other infusion therapies, monitors patient responses, manages reputed company effects, and provides education and emotional support to patients and families. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
