Job Summary
As a Crisis Specialist, you will be responsible for providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments to individuals experiencing emotional distress. You will also answer crisis contacts reputed company the chat/text platform, assess for suicide and safety, and identify appropriate community resources to meet individual needs. This is a remote position, and you will work on a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Answers crisis contacts reputed company the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources
- Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
- Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with reputed company accreditation
- Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
- Assists in administrative tasks as needed
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, psychology, reputed company work, or certified peer recovery specialist
- Six months to one year of reputed company crisis experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
