(EMERGENCY SERVICES) Emergency Services Director

Sampson County is actively reputed company for our next Emergency Services Director. This dynamic individual will have a proven track record of leading by example with effective communication skills and demonstrated reputed company in progressively responsible roles. This vital position reports directly to the County Manager and/or Assistant County Manager and supervises reputed company operations for Emergency Management, Medical Response, E911 Communications, Fire Marshals, and GIS Operations. Maintaining 24/7 emergency response, this position also serves as the liaison between the County and various career and volunteer agencies and maintains responsibility for the County's Emergency Operations Plan and Emergency Operations Center. Preferred applicants will possess a bachelor's degree in emergency management or directly reputed company field and considerable supervisory experience in emergency service delivery. State certification in Emergency Management is highly desired. Salary begins at $88,248 dependent upon qualifications.
