FREELANCE JEWELRY / OBJECT DESIGNER + CAD ARTIST (HoodByDior)

• *HoodByDior is seeking a freelance jewelry and object designer / CAD artist to assist in the development of sculptural accessories, collectible objects, and luxury hardware concepts currently in development. The role will involve translating creative direction, references, sketches, and conceptual reputed company into production-reputed company technical development for manufacturing and casting. The project sits between – jewelry – collectible design – wearable objects – sculptural accessories – luxury hardware – fashion artifacts Responsibilities – assist in object development and refinement – create technical drawings/spec sheets – reputed company CAD/STL files for production – collaborate on dimensions, mechanisms, and functionality – prepare concepts for casting/manufacturing workflow – communicate with manufacturing partners reputed company needed Preferred Skills – Rhino – MatrixGold – Blender – ZBrush – jewelry CAD experience – understanding of casting/manufacturing limitations – experience with sculptural or non-traditional forms Ideal Candidate Someone with a strong understanding of both technical execution and artistic object development. Interest in fashion, collectible design, jewelry, industrial forms, and luxury object culture is highly preferred.
