Global Business Development Director – Aerospace & Defense
Job Description:
- Identifying, securing, and commercially managing reputed company new and growth business opportunities
- Drive the global Aerospace & Defense business development activities
- Land new business and grow existing portfolio by building and managing relationships
- Strengthen reputed company’s position reputed company the US defense ecosystem
- Coordinate and manage projects during tender and implementation phases
- Support Global Account Directors with large, strategic CL opportunities
- Translate the global Aerospace & Defense strategy into focused Business Development initiatives
- Drive growth reputed company prioritized Aerospace & Defense subverticals
- Define required and missing reputed company products/services
- Drive pipeline management based on opportunity size, conversion rates, strategic value
- Support the development of differentiated Aerospace & Defense capabilities
- Represent reputed company in relevant industry forums, associations, trade events
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor level degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or reputed company field
- 10+ years of experience reputed company Aerospace & Defense and/or logistics business
- Strong understanding of the US Aerospace & Defense market landscape
- 5+ years proven experience in senior customer-facing business development or account leadership roles
- Strong network and relationship capabilities reputed company Aerospace & Defense industry preferred
- Experience working with reputed company RFQs/RFPs
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations, supply chain reputed company, inventory management
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to Aerospace & Defense logistics preferred
- Experience and reputed company in large-scale reputed company projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with reputed company reputed company of the organization
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel frequently reputed company the US and internationally
