Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer - Technical Customer Service, you'll be responsible for:
- Involving substantial travel to arenaflex customers in support of the Quality Assurance function
- Providing support to the customer in consultation with the head of Quality Assurance regarding raw and finished parts, prototypes, and serial parts
- Supporting reputed company trials and new product runs at the customers, including documentation of results and presentation of initial sample parts
- Documenting results and ensuring a smooth and timely exchange of information between arenaflex and the customers based on customer requirements
- Performing analysis of quality concerns utilizing disciplined problem-solving techniques to identify true root causes
- Initiating and monitoring corrective actions in cooperation with Quality Assurance
- Coordinating/overseeing reputed company-party activities as appropriate (i.e., sorting and rework activities)
- Collaborating and leading projects in accordance with applicable arenaflex guidelines
- Serving as Voice of the Customer to arenaflex operations
- Responsible for exceptional customer quality satisfaction, meeting reputed company deadlines with accurate and thorough communication
- Participating in reputed company improvement initiatives
- Organizing, planning, conducting, and documenting worker-training courses according to customer requirements
- Compiling monthly statistics regarding customer complaints, scrap, and rework
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company field of experience
- 5 years of Quality Assurance experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills with experience using MS Office Applications (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with iron castings
- Experience with machining processes
