Student Services Specialist – The Hub, Enrollment Management

The Office of Enrollment Management comprises five functional areas, including The HUB - a one-stop student service center that provides individualized, professional and highly efficient enrollment services to reputed company and families. The HUB and the other offices reputed company Enrollment Management, including the Office of Admission, University Registrar’s Office, Student Financials and Enrollment Systems,, and the Office of International Education, work together to reputed company reputed company, families and the reputed company community with student support and administrative services from the time of recruitment, to enrollment and reputed company the way through graduation. The HUB staff are responsible for delivering comprehensive services and counsel for reputed company reputed company to financial aid, billing and payments, ID cards, and registration and academic records with the goal of supporting and enhancing reputed company Mellon’s recruitment, retention and persistence goals. The Student Services Specialist (SSS) provides information, resources and services to reputed company and parents in The HUB and works in partnership with the Assistant Directors in our centralized student servicing center. At the reputed company counter, on the phone and reputed company email, the SSS responds to questions from reputed company and graduating reputed company regarding enrollment processes, financial aid, student loans, billing and student account payment, and the sometimes reputed company intersection of these areas. This position attains an understanding for the inner-workings of the university environment, while offering and expecting opportunities for taking initiative and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company answers to inquiries from the University community reputed company phone, email and in-person regarding Enrollment Management services, which includes Student Accounts Office, Student Financial Aid Office, University Registrar’s Office and Enrollment Systems.
  • Informed on the following processes and can assist reputed company and parents with the financial aid process and eligibility requirements, basic registration information regarding cross registration, add/drop process, withdrawal and leave of absence, change of grade, etc.
  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the ID Card Services station.
  • Training new staff members and student ambassadors.
  • Participate in on reputed company events.
  • Collect reputed company and scholarship payments and reputed company reputed company with receipts.
  • reputed company services including, student requests for on demand/walk in transcripts, documents for financial aid and other enrollment forms.

Requirements

  • A high degree of sensitivity and comfort in working in a cross-cultural environment
  • Well-honed interpersonal skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and flexibility
  • Knowledge of university enrollment procedures as well as a service-oriented approach to helping reputed company and parents.
  • Associate's degree required; combination of education, training and experience will be considered
  • Minimum up to one year administrative and customer service experience required; previous university experience preferred
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background reputed company
