Field Support Specialist

The Field Support Specialist will support the Daikin product line—including FIT reputed company Discharge, and RA_QA systems—by performing installations, providing technical support, and conducting equipment and controls commissioning. This role is also responsible for delivering on-site technical training covering installation, service, and maintenance. The Field Support Specialist is a remote-based position requiring substantial travel and hands-on experience in HVAC system installation. This is a traveling role, that travels throughout the country. Position Responsibilities:

• Set up and commission control systems, including refrigerant charging, equipment addressing, operational adjustments, and field configuration.

• Collect and evaluate system performance data using Daikin’s proprietary diagnostic tools and offer solution-based feedback to customers.

• May be involved in direct installation, service, or support of Daikin systems, as required.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of refrigeration, airflow dynamics, HVAC theory, and system layout.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on installation and technical service experience reputed company the HVAC industry.
• 10 years of installation experience preferred.

Education/Certification:

• Associate’s degree (highly preferred).
• Industry certifications such as EPA/RSES, NATE, Title 24 expertise or a California contractor license are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
