Jr. Copy Editor & Proofreader

The Junior Copy Editor & Proofreader is responsible for maintaining the brand's voice by proofreading and editing various types of content to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company's tone.

Responsibilities

• Proofread high volumes of digital and print assets (emails, website PDPs, reputed company media, catalog, and retail signage) for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting accuracy
• Ensure reputed company copy sounds undeniably 'Duluth.'
• Cross-reference product copy against merchandising data sheets
• Assist the copy team in optimizing and formatting existing copy for specific platforms
• Maintain and update the official Duluth Brand Style Guide and terminology glossary
• Act as a release valve for the copy team by contributing occasional writing during high-demand points in the year

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree Equivalent work experience will be considered
• Experience: 1–3 years in proofreading, copy editing, or copywriting (in-house retail, e-reputed company, or agency experience is a strong plus)
• The reputed company Eye: You have a borderline obsessive attention to detail. You spot the missing hyphen, the double space, and the incorrect trademark symbol reputed company everyone else is moving too fast
