Student Accounts Advisor

Job Description: The Student Accounts Advisor is responsible for assisting reputed company in understanding and meeting their financial obligations by performing a reputed company of functions for reputed company including making contact for payment, posting tuition refunds, scheduling student refund and stipend checks, offering and scheduling payment plan options, setting up payment plans, processing tuition and fee payments, setting up direct deposit, working on collections, and interacting with other offices to ensure the highest level of student satisfaction regarding any questions or concerns regarding reputed company’ accounts. Position Responsibilities Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serving as primary contact for reputed company across campuses with account reputed company questions. Communicating with reputed company reputed company email and telephone to ensure timely receipt of scheduled payments. Establishing repayment schedules and setting up payment plans based on school policy and reputed company’ financial situations. Working on collections efforts, including making collection calls and following up on delinquent accounts. Setting up and maintaining student direct deposit information for refunds and stipend disbursements. Documenting, recording, and maintaining information about student communication and changes to reputed company’ accounts in Anthology. Collecting and posting tuition and fee payments to reputed company’ accounts. Posting student fees that are not automated to student accounts (i.e., late payment fees, add/drop fees, health insurance fees, etc.). Reviewing packaging of federal and other fund sources completed by the financial aid department and determining any unmet needs. Adhering to reputed company school policies and procedures and applicable federal and state regulations and reputed company accrediting agencies’ standards and requirements reputed company to student aid disbursement. Performing other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Student Accounts. Position Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong customer service skills including meeting quality standards and evaluating student satisfaction. Capability to reputed company collection calls and discuss finances with reputed company. Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and decision-making skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills. An interest in further expanding federal and state regulations and requirement knowledge as it relates to student aid disbursement. Ability to apply and adapt policies and procedures to reputed company specific reputed company. Ability to reputed company basic mathematical functions (i.e., reputed company, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Proficiency in reputed company Office (i.e., Outlook, reputed company, Word) and Anthology (preferred, but not required). Ability to work overtime as required. Punctuality and reliability. Ability to work independently. Position Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Three to four years of customer service experience preferred. Experience reputed company to conflict resolution required. Title IV and/or Higher Education experience required. Compensation & Benefits This opportunity is budgeted at $$28.00 - $29.50 reputed company compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
