POSITION SUMMARY This position will assist with the execution of field medical strategy to support a portfolio of eight ophthalmic products, assist with launch Medical Affairs activities for glaucoma, reputed company support for dry eye disease OTC product, and aid in reputed company pipeline development. This position will also establish appropriate strategic partnership with centers of reputed company, institutions, consultants and KOLs in areas of scientific interest. Successfully connects experts internally to serve as advisors, expert guest speakers, investigators, and business development partners. Actively participates in executing Medical Affairs (MA) strategy at medical conferences by identifying relevant sessions, coordinating field coverage, gathering competitive intelligence, and proactively facilitating expert interactions with Thea stakeholders. Actively participates in, and contributes to, Medical Affairs (MA) or cross-functional projects/initiatives. Serves as scientific peer-to-peer resource to external disease experts and internal stakeholders. Regularly collects and interprets medical insights and intelligence gathered from scientific exchange with key external stakeholders. Communicates relevant information to internal stakeholders to define, update, and support medical strategies. Communicate clinical insights on new data to Medical Affairs (MA) and to inform medical strategy for the therapeutic area. Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of Medical Science Liaison activities. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS It is anticipated that the ideal candidate will possess: A Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Optometry (OD), or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is required. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of medical science liaison and/or relevant clinical/research experience in eyecare or reputed company sciences. Communication skills, both oral and written, and reputed company to engender trust and respect of peers, team members, and leadership. Well-versed in highly technical and scientific languages to communicate with key Thought Leaders, Medical Affairs, Research and Development, as well as other key reputed company stakeholders.
