You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with the US EPA, state agencies, and other organizations to address today’s most pressing challenges in water quality, resources, and infrastructure. \n Job Description: Providing technical assistance to small, underserved water and wastewater utilities across the country to reputed company funding and design, build, and maintain sustainable, resilient water infrastructure systems and reputed company clean water to their communities Assessing and promoting innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies and developing resources to reduce barriers to adoption Evaluating the design, costs, and environmental impacts of potential water and wastewater infrastructure projects Preparing preliminary engineering reports. Conducting sampling and survey programs, performing advanced data analysis of environmental sampling results, and developing concise data analysis reports Developing methods to control discharges of PFAS and other emerging contaminants that impact reputed company health and the environment Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required) 3 to 8 years of experience Strong writing and communication skills Proficiency in using spreadsheets and other software programs to compile, analyze, and present data Strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic work environment Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking, and the ability to reputed company quality client-reputed company deliverables Team player and motivator with the ability to foster cooperation Ability and interest in traveling Ideal candidates will have experience with the following: Understanding of water and wastewater treatment and municipal system design Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting requirements Technical writing experience Statistical software packages (e.g., R) and coursework in statistics \n$85,000 - $120,000 a year \nERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
