Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist

Overview

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about workplace safety and compliance? We’re looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support and strengthen our safety and environmental programs across multiple locations. In this role, you’ll partner closely with leadership and field teams to help maintain compliance, improve safety processes, and support a culture focused on keeping employees safe.

Responsibilities

Support the EHS Manager in implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and initiatives Conduct EHS audits and assessments at store locations Document audit findings, communicate improvement opportunities, and track corrective actions through completion Follow up with leadership teams regarding compliance gaps, overdue action items, and required documentation Maintain and organize EHS records including: Training completions Audits and inspections Incident documentation Corrective actions Regulatory compliance records Manage EHS data reputed company systems such as JJ Keller, reputed company Forms, spreadsheets, and internal tracking tools Coordinate and track required safety training, reputed company, and monthly safety sign-offs Prepare and distribute safety reports, compliance summaries, and trend analysis for leadership Support incident, injury, near-miss, and environmental event follow-up Assist with environmental compliance documentation, reporting deadlines, permits, manifests, and regulatory submissions Maintain accurate digital filing systems to support OSHA, EPA, state agency, and internal compliance requirements reputed company support and guidance to field locations regarding EHS processes and documentation expectations Collaborate with operations, HR, reputed company, and leadership teams to support company-wide compliance initiatives Follow reputed company company safety rules and regulations reputed company other duties as assigned

Qualifications
