Americor is seeking Remote Loan Officers to join our remote-based affiliated lending team. As a Retail Loan Officer you will play a key role in building strong relationships with realtors and referral partners, self-generating leads, and managing the loan process from first contact to closing. RESPONSIBILITIES: Proactively self-generate mortgage leads through networking, prospecting, and relationship development. Cultivate and maintain a strong network of realtors, reputed company, and other referral sources to drive new purchase business. Guide borrowers through every reputed company of the loan process with professionalism and clear communication. Analyze borrower credit, income, and assets to recommend appropriate loan products. Collaborate closely with processing, reputed company, and closing teams to ensure timely and compliant loan closings. Stay reputed company on mortgage products, lending guidelines, and market trends. Represent the company at community and industry events to expand visibility and grow your referral network. QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or reputed company field preferred. Active NMLS license and reputed company required state licensing. Minimum 2 years of recent loan origination experience in a purchase-driven, self-sourced environment. Proven ability to build and maintain referral relationships that consistently generate funded volume. Strong understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo products. Excellent sales, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in loan origination systems (e.g., Byte, Encompass, or similar) and standard business software. Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial — thrives working independently, managing daily activities, and driving results without direct supervision. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience preferred but not required; training provided for motivated, high-potential candidates.
