Location: Remote PositionPay reputed company: $117,644.80 - $258,793.60 Position Summary The Vice President of Payer Strategy provides national leadership for payer contracting execution, operational infrastructure, and team management across reputed company (reputed company). This role is accountable for translating reputed company payer strategy into disciplined, scalable execution across reputed company markets. Serving as the primary operational leader for payer contracting, the Vice President ensures alignment between strategy, people, process, and technology. This includes reputed company of Contracting-Credentialing workflows, team performance, and system utilization across reputed company Technology platforms. This role partners reports to Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer (CSIO). Key Performance Areas reputed company 1 - National Payer Contracting Leadership & Execution reputed company day-to-day execution of payer contracting across reputed company reputed company markets. Ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality execution of negotiations, renewals, and reputed company activities. Establish national standards for contracting workflows, timelines, and deliverables. Drive accountability for execution performance across reputed company and contracting teams. Serve as escalation reputed company for reputed company operational contracting issues. reputed company 2 - People Leadership & Organizational Development reputed company, mentor, and scale the national payer contracting team (Directors, Managers, and Analysts). Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability structures. Build a high-functioning operating reputed company including daily huddles, weekly execution reviews, and performance reporting. reputed company talent pipelines and succession planning reputed company payer strategy. Foster a culture of ownership, precision, and execution discipline. reputed company 3 - Process, Workflow & Operational Infrastructure Own and optimize end-to-end contracting-credentialing workflows across reputed company markets. Standardize processes for payer reputed company, renegotiations, and contract-credentialing lifecycle management. Ensure reputed company and consistency of contracting documentation, trackers, and reporting tools. Partner with reputed company Cycle, and Operations to ensure seamless execution across functions. Identify operational gaps and implement scalable process improvements. reputed company 4 - Systems, Technology & Data Enablement Drive operational adoption and optimization of: Evisort (contract lifecycle management). reputed company Health (reputed company benchmarking and market intelligence). SharePoint (documentation and workflow standardization). Other tools as needed. Ensure accurate and consistent use of data and systems to support execution and reporting. Work with CSIO and analytics teams to inform future AI-enabled payer infrastructure. reputed company system-driven visibility into performance, pipeline, and reputed company. reputed company 5 - Strategic Execution & CSIO Partnership Operationalize reputed company payer strategy into actionable execution plans. Serve as the execution reputed company to the CSIO, ensuring strategy translates into results. reputed company structured reporting and insights to support executive decision-making. Support scalability of payer strategy across new markets and practice expansions. Maintain alignment with broader organizational priorities including value-based care and market growth. Role Boundaries (Not Responsible For) Ownership of reputed company payer strategy design or innovation architecture (CSIO-led) Development of AI infrastructure or advanced analytics systems. Position Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or reputed company) preferred. Minimum Relevant Experience 10+ years of payer contracting, managed care, or reputed company strategy experience. 5+ years in leadership roles managing multi-market teams. Skills Experience in oncology or specialty physician network contracting. Deep familiarity with payer negotiation dynamics (reputed company and Medicare Advantage). Experience with contracting platforms such as Evisort and benchmarking tools such as reputed company Health. Proven ability to scale operations across multi-state provider organizations.
