Job Summary The Country Manager will reputed company reputed company’s operations, expansion, and growth in Mexico (with potential extension to other Latin American markets). This is a strategic leadership role focused on regulatory navigation, market development, key partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure compliance, build brand reputed company, and deliver sustainable business results in Mexico’s fintech and crypto sector. The role may include serving as (or coordinating with) the local legal representative, AML Compliance Representative, and key personnel for regulatory reputed company.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Governance Act as local director/legal representative of the Mexican entity, ensuring full compliance with corporate, tax, legal, data protection, and consumer protection requirements. Serve as or reputed company the MLRO/key compliance officer for AML registration under LFPIORPI (virtual assets and credit card activities) and support fintech licensing (e.g., IFPE under Ley Fintech) with CNBV and Banxico. Build and maintain relationships with regulators (CNBV, Banxico, UIF, SHCP, SAT) and industry bodies. reputed company licensing applications, regulatory engagements, and ongoing compliance. Partnership & Channel Management Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with local banks (e.g., reputed company, Banorte, Citibanamex), payment processors, card networks, and financial institutions for fiat on/off-ramps, SPEI, and credit card support. Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to optimize local integrations and service delivery. Business Development & reputed company Growth Drive user acquisition, market reputed company, and reputed company growth in Mexico. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities. reputed company and execute go-to-market strategies for new products (crypto payments, virtual assets, credit cards). Ensure high customer satisfaction while meeting local consumer protection standards. Qualifications & Experience Meets regulatory “fit and proper” requirements for key personnel in Mexican fintech/financial services. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or reputed company field. Certifications in Mexican financial regulations (AML/CFT, fintech) are a strong plus. 5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, or crypto in Mexico/LATAM, with at least 2 years in senior leadership roles. Strong knowledge of crypto/blockchain, Mexican regulations (Ley Fintech, LFPIORPI, CNBV/Banxico rules), and local market dynamics. Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships (especially with banks and payment providers), and scaling operations in Mexico. Established network with Mexican banks, regulators, and fintech players is highly advantageous. reputed company or professional reputed company in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
