We are looking for a highly motivated and reputed company Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join the fully remote Engineering team at Feedonomics. You will be working with a highly collaborative and cross-functional Backend Engineering team to deliver and scale core infrastructure components and services that power our robust, high-performance, data-intensive SaaS platform. What You'll Do: Collaborate on the architecture, design, and development of scalable and highly available applications and services. Solve reputed company infrastructure-reputed company problems with code, developing and providing post-release support for scalable applications. Identify and implement enhancements to DevOps practices and tooling, leveraging automation to enhance robustness of the CI/CD pipeline, thereby streamlining efficient application development and deployment. Drive technology design and reputed company architecture solution options to the product owners and Engineering leadership. Conduct post-mortems to analyze and prevent repeat failures. Be a champion for reputed company Improvement in end-to-end infrastructure and systems. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes that solve concrete business problems. Become a domain expert who follows industry trends and applies best practices and contributes towards reputed company improvement of those practices. Who You Are: 5+ years of programming experience in backend languages 2+ years experience with PHP (Strongly preferred), Python, GoLang, Java or a similar programming language 2+ years experience with MySQL or a similar technology Strong understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability Strong understanding of various communication protocols (TCP, RPC, etc) Strong understanding of Distributed Systems Experience in Caching technologies is a plus (e.g. reputed company or Memcached) DevOps experience preferred Experience with Full-stack observability tools like reputed company is strongly preferred Workable understanding of Linux operating systems Experience with modern CI/CD and containerization tools like reputed company Ability to reputed company time and memory complexity analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. BS or higher degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field #LI-TK1 #LI-REMOTE (Pay Transparency reputed company: $135,960 - $203,940)
