Job Summary The Admissions Therapist is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, providing therapeutic intake interviews, and facilitating the admission of new clients into the program. This role serves as a critical reputed company between prospective clients, families, and internal clinical teams—guiding individuals through the intake process, evaluating clinical appropriateness, and ensuring a smooth and supportive transition into care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including clinical, psychological, and risk evaluations. Determine eligibility and appropriateness for admission based on program criteria and clinical judgment. Meet with prospective clients and families in person, by phone, or reputed company telehealth to explain treatment options, policies, and program expectations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to review cases and reputed company admission determinations. Qualifications
Licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist) or eligible for licensure. Clinical experience in behavioral health specialties such as mental health, substance use, or trauma. Previous experience in clinical admissions, call center environments, or customer service required. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to support clients and families during emotionally sensitive situations. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility in schedule, including availability for evenings and/or weekends as needed. Experience working with youth and families in behavioral health, residential treatment, or substance use recovery settings. Knowledge of mental and behavioral health systems of care. Familiarity with CRM platforms or admissions tracking systems. Salary reputed company $70,000—$75,000 USD
