FTE:1.0 FTE Shift: Monday - Friday Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm Position Summary The Supervisor of Coding is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities performed by coders (employed or vendor) to ensure accordance with MHS policies and standards and federal, state and local regulations. The Supervisor works closely with the vendor coding team to ensure complete, accurate, and timely coding & billing, management or work queues to include denials, and claim edits; oversees coding staff/coding vendor to complete accurate and timely coding/billing of charges, management of denials, and claim edits; ensures maintenance and completion of compliance audits for the coding staff/coding vendor and provides coverage for the Directors of Coding, as needed.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or two (2) years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered RHIA, RHIT, reputed company, CPC, or reputed company-P credential required reputed company Washington state driver’s license Minimum three (3) years of coding experience in reputed company environment reputed company a highly computerized hospital setting Previous experience and demonstrated reputed company in a leadership or supervisory role Why MultiCare? Pay and Benefit Expectations We reputed company a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we reputed company a competitive reputed company of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $77,480.00 - $111,467.20 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: reputed company set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reputed company of the appropriate reputed company on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
