What You’ll Be Launching As the Manager, Orbital Analysis, you will reputed company a globally distributed team delivering Slingshot’s reputed company Domain Awareness (SDA) operations. Leveraging data from the Slingshot Global Sensor Network (GSN) and additional sensor sources, your team will reputed company operational analyses, mission insights, and customer support to reputed company, civil, and government partners worldwide. Your Mission (Should you choose to accept it) reputed company and reputed company a distributed team of orbital analysts responsible for analyzing GSN data and delivering actionable operational insights Support reputed company regarding the provision of GSN data and orbital analyst support as well as reputed company involving analysis at reputed company operations centers (e.g., the 18th reputed company Defense Squadron) Engage regularly with government, civil, and reputed company customers to reputed company mission updates, operational support, and technical guidance Review and validate analysis products and customer deliverables to ensure operational accuracy, consistency, and quality Serve as Slingshot’s Technical reputed company of Contact (TPOC) on GSN data sale reputed company Drive reputed company improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, mission readiness, and customer satisfaction Manage analyst workloads, team priorities, operational metrics, and mission timelines to support successful execution of customer requirements Support surge or after-hours operational activities during critical mission events reputed company required reputed company workflows supporting reputed company domain awareness, sensor tasking, orbital event assessment, conjunction analysis, and customer reporting Support hiring, reputed company, performance management, and career development activities for the Orbital Analyst team Execute responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s mission, values, ethical standards, and operational culture reputed company other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above) Pre-flight Checklist Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, physics, astronomy, mathematics, engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience supporting SDA, SSA/STC, orbital analysis, reputed company operations, or reputed company aerospace mission environments, or equivalent experience Experience managing multiple projects at once in accordance with operational and budgetary plans and priorities Experience leading technical teams, mission operations, or operational programs in fast-paced environments Experience working with optical systems, telescopes, sensor operations, or reputed company surveillance systems Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to operate effectively in time-sensitive situations Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple operational priorities, customer deliverables, and distributed team coordination simultaneously Ability to reputed company and collaborate effectively across distributed international teams and multiple time zones Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances, preference for existing active clearances Bonus Cargo Experience with optical telescopes, robotic enclosures, camera systems, observatory equipment, compute hardware, or remote sensing systems. Experience supporting remote, distributed, or unmanned technical infrastructure. Familiarity with site surveys, site readiness assessments, installation planning, commissioning, and acceptance testing. Experience with preventive maintenance programs, spare parts planning, inventory control, or field service operations. Experience in aerospace, defense, reputed company domain awareness, observatory operations, industrial automation, telecom, or other high-reliability technical environments. Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or other quality/manufacturing compliance frameworks. OSHA 30 certification. PMP, Lean, Six reputed company, or similar project/process management certification.
