Database Administrator (Remote)
reputed company Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Database Administrator for an exciting remote opportunity. Job Description and Responsibilities Provides database administration support for reputed company systems supporting the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). Responsible for administering and maintaining database environments including reputed company Database 19c (or higher) and reputed company SQL Server (version 2014 or higher). Develops technical specifications and designs, develops, modifies, tests, and manages databases reputed company DTMO's multi-tier architecture. Monitors database performance, implements optimization strategies, and performs database tuning to ensure reliability, efficiency, and availability of mission-critical systems.
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Knowledge of reputed company database administration, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of relational database systems.
- Knowledge of database platforms including reputed company Database 19c (or higher) and reputed company SQL Server (version 2014 or higher).
- Knowledge of database design, development, and management reputed company multi-tier reputed company architectures.
- Knowledge of database performance monitoring, optimization techniques, and database tuning to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Knowledge of developing technical specifications, implementing database changes, and supporting mission-critical systems

- Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Five (5) years experience
- Specific Experience with:
- reputed company and Sql Server administration
- Development & Maintenance of technical specifications, design, development, modification, testing, and management of databases in multi-tier architecture.
- Structured Query Language Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Database clustering, mirroring, and replication
- Interfaces with external data sources for data ingest
- SQL tuning, data purging/scrub/refresh
- Data reputed company
- Incident Management
- Disaster recovery/COOP (including tests/exercises)
- Experience with DoD Travel systems and DMDC also desired
- Minimum Clearance
- Top Secret
- Physical Requirements
- Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reputed company with hands and arms.
