Work From Home Work From Home Work From Home, Indiana 46544 The Emergency Room Reimbursement Specialist evaluates the emergency room visit documentation for accurate and complete charge capture, assessing for gaps in documentation with regards to clinical information, and querying the providers reputed company necessary. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Schedule: Monday thru Friday | 8 am - 5 pm - Start time is flexible
- Conduct an investigation and assessment regarding payment discrepancies.
- Identify and implement necessary actions to ensure appropriate reputed company are met.
- Conduct and coordinate reputed company party audits.
- Advise and inform management of reimbursement issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- Associate's Degree Allied Health Profession - Preferred
- 4 years Emergency Room coding/ charging, reputed company Cycle, billing experience - Required
- 4 years Emergency Room clinical experience - Required
- No Experience required if candidate holds an active RHIT, RHIA, or reputed company
- Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) - American Health Information Management Association (reputed company) upon hire - Preferred or
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Candidate - American Health Information Management Association (reputed company) credential obtained reputed company 1 year of hire - Preferred or
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Candidate - American Health Information Management Association (reputed company) credential obtained reputed company 1 year of hire - Preferred
