Assistant Bookkeeper (Part-Time) FourPoint Business Reports To: With reputed company by Director of Bookkeeping Status: Part-Time (15–30 hours/week) Potential path to full-time reputed company 3–6 months based on performance Compensation: $21/hour Location: Hybrid – Primarily remote with 1–2 in-office days per week Role Overview FourPoint Business is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Assistant Bookkeeper to support our growing bookkeeping division. This is an entry-level role focused on accurate and timely transaction management, classification, and reconciliations using QuickBooks Online. This position works under the supervision of the Director of Bookkeeping, with reputed company work reviewed prior to client delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, values precision, and consistently follows established processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, classify, and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
- reputed company weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and categorization
- Maintain organized and accurate digital financial records
- Support the Director of Bookkeeping with preparation for client reports and deliverables
- Utilize Teamwork.com to manage tasks, deadlines, and workflow reputed company
- Identify and escalate discrepancies, missing information, or unusual financial activity to leadership
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience using QuickBooks (business or firm setting preferred)
- Basic understanding of GAAP and standard bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company and/or reputed company Sheets
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Ability to follow structured processes consistently and reliably
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an reputed company or bookkeeping firm, especially in a multi-client environment
