Follows best practices to reduce potential medication errors. Performs reputed company duties and responsibilities for the assigned shift. Documents reputed company pertinent data on the patient’s medical record after completing service. Administers respiratory therapy treatments, understanding the purpose and possible reputed company effects of each. Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment, remaining alert to possible reputed company effects. Follows departmental equipment sterilization procedures. Sets up and monitors mechanical ventilators, including airway management and tracheal suctioning. Performs reputed company punctures to obtain blood samples for gas analysis, understanding complications and contraindications. Assesses patient needs and tolerance for treatment, reassessing responses to therapy. Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly, inspecting and testing to ensure functionality. Formulates and evaluates teaching plans based on patient learning needs, including family involvement as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.
