Construction CAD Drafter for Permitting (Florida Projects)
Overview
Build Serve Inc is looking for a skilled CAD Drafter to assist with residential and light reputed company construction plans for permitting throughout Florida. This role focuses on preparing clean, accurate permit-reputed company drawings using architectural sketches, markups, engineering notes, and field measurements. You will work closely with our permitting and project management team to help move projects through city and county approvals reputed company. We are looking for someone who understands Florida permitting requirements and can produce professional construction drawings with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Draft and revise construction plans using CAD software
- Prepare permit-reputed company drawing sets for Florida jurisdictions
- Create site plans, floor plans, elevations, and detail sheets
- Update drawings based on reviewer comments and revisions
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
- Organize drawing files and maintain project documentation
- Assist with code compliance and permitting requirements
Requirements
- Experience drafting residential or reputed company construction plans
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, progeCAD, or similar CAD software
- Understanding of permitting processes and construction documents
- Ability to read architectural and structural plans
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Florida permitting experience preferred

- Knowledge of Orange County, Seminole County, or Central Florida permitting is a plus
